ThiruAadipuram is the birth nakshathiram for Aandal in this day only she was found by Periazhwar at the nandvanam.this utsavam grandly celebrated in all Divyadesam, in thiruvallikeni celebrating for ten days ending on ThiruAadipuram day. daily in the evening after procession we have Unjal and Maalaimaathal between lord parthasarathy and aandaal. thiruvaimozhi pathikam being rendered by Adhyabaga swamygal in Aasthanam before the God & Godess, saathumarai day swamy goes to Aandal sannidi where the thirumanjanam & the whole day function till saathumarai being done there. when swamy returns to sannidi Aandaal also comes with him & she will in be in the swamy sannidi for amonth until next puram.
